Home inspection Checklist
Interior
Flush toilets/check for deposit rings- Run disposals & faucets/check for signs of leaks under sinks, spigots, base of toilets
- Check light bulbs
- Sweep any dead bugs
- Check refrigerators, including water filter status and ice makers
- Check thermostats
- Check for any leaks in ceilings, walls, floorboards
Professional inspections at your door
Exterior
- Check exterior vegetation and yard appearance; arrange debris clean up if needed
- Check outdoor light bulbs, especially outdoor security lights on timers
- Check for flyers or solicitation materials left at front door (remove)
- Visual check of pool and spa
- Check water softener
- Check for possible pest infestation
- Check circuit breakers & alarm systems
